Amon-Ra St. Brown holds ‘Strike for Literacy’ event in Downtown Detroit

Funds will help children succeed academically

DETROIT – Detroit Lions star Amon-Ra St. Brown is holding a “Strike for Literacy” event downtown.

The St. Brown Foundation said the inaugural event is a “one-of-a-kind game night” that includes an exclusive meet-and-greet with the star wide receiver for those who buy VIP tickets.

Funds raised will be used to help children succeed academically and “shoot for the stars.”

The event will be from 6-9 p.m. Nov. 3, 2025, at Five Iron Golf -- 600 West Lafayette Boulevard, suite 51, in Detroit.

General admission tickets include food, drinks, shuffleboard, pool, table tennis, and more.

VIP tickets also include the meet-and-greet with St. Brown.

Sponsorships offer the full Five Iron experience with a reserved golf simulator or private duckpin bowling lane for the evening.
